I'm an Independent Celebrant who can legally perform marriages and civil unions in New Zealand - yay! That means I can help you by officiating your special day (awwwwww so romantic!)
Now, I know the whole "Tattooed Celebrant" marketing might look a little bit dodgy but don't worry, I come from a security background so you are in safe hands! I decided to be a celebrant so that there are more options for lovey dovey couples when it comes to finding the right 'fit' for their special day.
I'm hoping to be someone that people can relate to - so if an inked up, metal loving, vegetarian celebrant sounds like your cup of tea then inbox away! If you want a celebrant to marry you in a cave, that's me! If you want a civil union on a mountain at midnight under the stars, that's me! If you want me to hold your kiddies while we are doing the ceremony I'll be more than happy to do that (I've got kiddies so I understand how restless kiddies can get), whatever works for you!

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Process in a Nutshell
1. Initial Chat
Contact me and we will book in a time for an initial zoom meeting. I will then send you a fillable PDF questionnaire to get some basic information from you and you can email it back it me at any time before our initial meeting.
2. First Meeting
The initial meeting: Either face to face or via zoom. I will ask a series of questions to understand what your needs are in further detail. Here we will discuss your thoughts around what kind of ceremony you would like, the time frame, location, size, and the process in applying for a wedding license.
3. Follow Up
Either face to face or via zoom where we talk about things in more detail and get updates and ensure we apply for a marriage or civil union license if we haven’t done so already (this depends on the timeline of when you wish the ceremony to take place). We will discuss each aspect of the ceremony in more detail.
4. Rehearsal Time

COST
The cost of my services
To apply for your marriage or civil union license there is a cost that is paid directly to Births Deaths and Marriages when you apply online. Click here to find out more information about applying for a marriage or civil union license.
My celebrant fee: Nil.
However if travel is required outside of Auckland I will ask travel costs to be covered thanks….and if you require me to wear a chicken suit then you’ll need to provide it.
